Comcast Honors WA State Veterans at Events

If you can spare a little over 3 1/2 minutes, our Video Production Manager Ed Hauge crafted a film of our annual Veterans Day meal at the Comcast Arena in Everett. Like videos of individual employees that we posted earlier, this video celebrates our veterans, just as the event celebrated them. You’ll hear from a couple of guest speakers and several veterans themselves.

As we see the faces of our co-workers who we see on a daily basis, we are reminded once again of the importance of Comcast (and other companies) hiring veterans.

We thank everyone in the video including our guests, Alfie Alvarado  of the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs, and guest speakers comedian Gabriel Rutledge and Rico Roman, inspirational veteran and Paralympian.

Incidentally, it would have been a long haul for veterans who work in Spokane to come to Everett, so they had their own event at the elegant Glover Mansion:
