ESPN Goal Line Launches in Washington

ESPN Goal Line launches in Washington state on Aug. 30 on channel 436 as part of our Sports and Entertainment tier of channels.

For college football fans, the timing couldn’t be more perfect.

Here is an excerpt from a customer email, asking for ESPN Goal Line: “It’s almost time for yet another College Football season & I would LOVE NOTHING MORE than to just put the TV on ONE channel—AND LEAVE IT THERE for all the whip-around coverage of College Football I would ever need (Or want) like we currently enjoy every Sunday with NFL RedZone.”

I couldn’t have said it any better. For those of you who enjoy that comparable program,  NFL RedZone, no explanation is needed. For the rest of you, ESPN Goal Line is like sitting in a giant control room at ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Conn., facing a huge wall of televisions, each tuned to all the top college football games across the country.

I never thought I would be saying this, but the entire experience is better than channel surfing, because you don’t have to do any work.

All you have to do is sit in your living room and let the good people at ESPN whip around the country showing live cut-ins, usually as one team is in scoring position, and highlights from top college games, while giving you up-to-the-minute commentary and analysis.

ESPN Goal Line will be available Saturdays during the college football season from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. until the country goes off Daylight Savings Time when it will operate an hour later.

To order ESPN Goal Line, you can call 1-800-COMCAST.
